Figure This!

Start by standing about 2 feet from a wall. Have a friend hold a small mirror against the wall so that you can see only a portion of yourself; back up and see if you can see more of yourself.

Measure the height of the mirror.

Measure how much of yourself you see in this mirror (the uppermost part to the lowermost part you see).

Compare the measurements. Try other mirrors.

Stand in different places. Draw a picture. Put the measurements in your picture. What do you notice?
